CECL is the biggest change ever to bank accounting and it promises to change how banks—large and small—manage their companies.
ABA’s accounting expert, Mike Gullette, Vice President, Accounting & Financial Management, and Dixon Hughes, Goodman, will address what is needed to comply with the new CECL standard by the 2020/21 effective date, plus how to successfully integrate the CECL process into corporate planning.
Bankers will work in small groups to analyze case studies and think through the key issues they are likely to face under the new standard. By the end of the workshop, bankers will know what they need to do in order to put a successful implementation process in high gear.
